adidas and Solar Soccer Club announce 7 Year Partnership

Portland, OR, 03-25-10 - adidas is proud to announce an exciting 7 Year Partnership with Dallas area soccer club, Solar SC. adidas will be the official sponsor and sportswear supplier for the club until 2016.

Solar Soccer Club is one of the top youth soccer programs in the United States under the leadership of Director of Coaching Kevin Smith. The extended partnership is a natural affiliation between the world’s number one soccer brand and one of the countries leading soccer clubs.

There are many new and exciting aspects of the partnership between adidas Soccer and Solar SC:

Solar SC is officially the newest member of the Chelsea FC Super Club network. As one of 6 Chelsea FC Super Clubs in the US, Solar SC players and coaches have exclusive access to Chelsea FC coaching education; will participate in team and player exchange programs at Chelsea’s famed Cobham training facility in London; and Solar SC USSF Academy players will be one of the first to wear the new 2010 Chelsea FC Replica Home and Away Uniform in the US.

adidas Soccer will be a key sponsor of Solar SC’s club initiatives and programs by providing tournaments and camp support, coaches and board of directors product packages, scholarship support packages, and access to adidas partner events and programs (adidas International Training Program, National Soccer Coaches Association of America, and Athletes Performance).
