MICHELLE LENARD, HEAD WOMEN’S COACH AT DALLAS BAPTIST UNIVERSITY APPOINTED SOLAR ’93 GIRLS COACH

Effective immediately, Michelle Lenard, head women’s soccer coach at Dallas Baptist University, has been appointed as the coach for the Solar ’93 Girls team. An initial meeting of the team with Coach Lenard will occur on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. at the Solar Soccer Complex. All returning players and any new players interested in learning more about the team are invited to attend the meeting.

Prior to becoming the Dallas Baptist University women's coach, Michelle was an assistant coach at the University of North Texas from 2004-2006. Michelle is from Lubbock and graduated from the University of North Texas in 2003. Michelle played center midfield for the Mean Green from 1999 to 2002. She was named to the Sunbelt Conference All-Conference Team and was also named to the University's President's List, Dean's List and Sunbelt All-Academic Team.

Michelle Lenard will bring a vibrant energy and the resource of her college coaching experience at the University of North Texas and now at Dallas Baptist University to this team.
